Hospiscare Christmas Tree Collection Total

January  2025

Almost 2 weeks ago, an army of volunteers along with our Jules and H, came together with 63 vans to collect and recycle over 2200 Christmas trees over 3 days across Exeter, and East Devon for the incredible Hospiscare  !
We are thrilled to share that, thanks to everyone’s hard work and the generosity of those who registered their trees for recycling, this has raised a record-breaking £46,000! 💥
This huge sum will directly support specialist end-of-life care for patients and families right here in Devon.

Hospiscare Christmas Tree Collection

January  2025

Taylor Lewis had such a productive day collecting Christmas trees for Hospiscare 🙌

In our fourth year that colleagues Jules and H have been part of a volunteer team who have covered Tiverton, Exeter, Sidmouth, Honiton, Exmouth, Ottery, and surrounding areas recycling your unwanted Christmas trees for a donation to Hospiscare – last year this raised a staggering £38k for the charity!

Special thanks to Switch Car Rental for the wheels 👍

🤞 we will beat this amount in the 2025 collection – these incredible donations will help to provide over 350 home visits to local patients and families who are receiving their care – A huge difference made to so many people!

CEO Sleepout Bristol 2024

November 2024

CEO Sleepout

Bristol 2024

Seven everyday heroes from the Taylor Lewis Team (for two colleagues this was their second year of particating) took part in the CEO Sleepout Bristol on 11 November, raising money for Help Bristol’s Homeless, Billy Chip and Best Mates. The stark realisation to what those sleeping rough face when temperatures plummet. The Bristol weather dropped to a balmy 3 degrees so stepping out of their comfort zone swapping cosy homes and warm beds to create awareness and funds to combat homelessness and provide vital support to those in need.

For most of us homelessness is unimaginable. We take for granted that we will be able to meet our daily needs of safety, food, shelter and companionship without facing incredible obstacles. But every day thousands of people awake without shelter or a regular address.
The aim is to raise both awareness and funds to combat homelessness and provide vital support to those in need. A huge thank you to the big hearted businesses who sponsored and donated to this worthy cause.

Its a Knockout

2024

At Taylor Lewis we’ve discovered that infusing the playful spirit of “It’s a Knockout” with partners in the build environment, not only strengthens our connections but also injects a massive dose of fun into the work culture.

For the third year running at the beautiful Winslade Park, 32 teams took part tackling inflatable obstacle courses, dressing up in hilarious costumes, and participated in some fun, crazy challenges, all creating unforgettable memories and bonds that last beyond the workplace, and transforming a regular office day into an extraordinary colleague adventure!

The unpredictable September weather behaved, and allowed for a truly memorable day for all who took part. A huge well done to all the teams from across the region who shared in the wacky, entertaining games and we look forward to doing it all again next year. Who says team building has to be dull and conventional?

Robin Jackson, Managing Director and Co-owner of Taylor Lewis stated,

For the third year running I am overwhelmed by the popularity of this event. It’s fantastic to bring our industry partners together and this unique event creates an amazing culture of competition, friendship and collaboration. We will continue to make this an annual event and I’m already looking forward to next year. I would like to thank our sponsors W4G Fire & Security, Trowers & Hamlins LLP, Gwella Contracting Services, Devon Contractors and Westwood Liquid Technologies for their support on the day and a special thanks to the TL team that made the day possible!”
