Rob manages a team of Technical Advisors who cover a geographic patch from west Cornwall, into Devon, Somerset, south Wales, Worcestershire and Wiltshire. The Technical Advisor Team carry out a traditional Clerk of Works role, providing scheme support across a wide variety of schemes. Rob also provides technical support and guidance to the Surveyor Team within the Taylor Lewis Business. Rob brings a wealth of experience from previous roles in construction management, having worked as Site
Manager, Project Manager, and Contracts Manager across a variety of housing and complex development schemes. Prior to joining Taylor Lewis, he held the position of Senior Design Manager, where he was involved in all stages of the design and technical process, including construction-phase support. At Taylor Lewis, Rob contributes as both Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent, preparing cost estimates, managing contractor payments, producing cost reports, chairing meetings, and liaising directly with clients. His CAD training and broad knowledge of sequencing, programming, and construction processes enable him to
provide valuable input on land-led schemes for retained clients, enhancing project delivery and strategic planning.
